Commute was extra long today as there was train delay. No surprises given our transport is highly susceptible to bad weather and today's wind is so strong even a baby hippo like me feels like I am gonna be blown away.
Train delay means I am going to miss Masterchef. Annoying... hopefully I don't miss the budget announcement although I don't think there is anything exciting. This morning RBA (bank negara) already announced interest cut to 1.75%. That means economy is no good and need stimulation. YaY for variable loan, boo for savings account. Sien. ..if they keep cutting it soon will have to pay bank to keep money like Japan.
Given our election is going to happen in July, this budget announcement is probably a 'safe' voter lure budget with no tough measures. The last PM that did that got over thrown by the current one before he finish one term.
